JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international tech-centric group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom Group also includes other businesses: Joom, a platform for global shopping; JoomPulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. We are now looking for a hands-on and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive our expansion into new markets. This is a high-impact role with a unique opportunity to shape regional strategy, manage key partnerships, and directly contribute to the business growth in your region.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects from idea to execution: launch new services, markets, and operational models
- Break down business problems, propose structured solutions, align with leadership, and drive implementation
- Support market launches in LATAM: customer research, GTM, legal setup, budgeting, and partner negotiations
- Oversee partner projects in Central Asia: manage operations, maintain high-level communication, and resolve issues hands-on
- Coordinate legal, financial, and operational workstreams, including document review and consultant management
- Track business performance and ensure smooth execution across regions
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or operations
- Proven ability to own and execute cross-functional initiatives
- Solid understanding of legal, financial, and business frameworks
- Structured thinking, clear communication, and problem-solving mindset
- Fluency in English and Russian
- Willingness to travel frequently
Preferred
- Fluency (B2/C1) in Spanish
- Familiarity with international trade, e-commerce platforms and cross-border operations
