Fleet & Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track the maintenance of over 150 units, including both trucks and trailers, ensuring all are in safe and operational condition.

• Coordinate and schedule service appointments (PMs, repairs, inspections) with U.S.-based shops and service providers.

• Work closely with U.S. Fleet and Dispatch teams to manage truck availability and avoid conflicts with active load assignments.

• Monitor ongoing repairs, confirm completion, and communicate estimated repair timelines to relevant stakeholders.

• Liaise with external maintenance vendors, negotiate pricing where applicable, and ensure quality service delivery.

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service history, and compliance documents in the designated fleet management system.

• Track mileage and service intervals to ensure timely PMs and avoid breakdowns or violations.

• Use available telematics and fleet tools to monitor truck health indicators and flag issues early.

• Provide weekly reports on maintenance activities, upcoming service needs, truck downtime, and vendor performance to U.S. Fleet Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of experience in fleet management or trucking maintenance coordination

• Experience managing 100+ vehicles is strongly preferred

• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Ability to manage in US time zones and work collaboratively with U.S.-based staff

• Familiarity with warranty related services

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets, email and fleet software tools

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and responsive
