Associate 3 / Manager, Project Finance, Deal Advisory department

We are looking for an Associate 3 / Manager to join our team in Tashkent.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and debt advisory projects: Lead and manage complex PPP and infrastructure projects, assist clients in raising funds, driving them from inception to successful completion.
• Shape Project Success: Define project scope, develop strategic approaches, and ensure seamless execution.
• Deliver Excellence: Oversee the preparation of high-quality client deliverables, including reports, proposals, contracts, and marketing materials.
• Guide Financial Analysis: Mentor teams in conducting financial analysis, including historical reviews, projections, industry research, and valuation methodologies.
• Ensure Operational Efficiency: Manage internal workflow, implement risk management procedures, and foster a culture of excellence.
• Build Relationships, Drive Growth: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, key market constituents, and target clients to fuel business development.

Requirements:

— 5+ years of relevant experience in an Investment Bank/Private Equity/internal Corporate Finance Department/BIG4 or Valuation consulting firm;

— Higher education, desirably in Finance / Economics;

— Deep understanding of the PPP regulatory environment in Uzbekistan, including project lifecycles from requests to tenders to PPP agreements;

— Demonstrated success in closing PPP transactions;

— Broad knowledge of the PPP ecosystem, both within the country and across the region;

— Excellent knowledge of valuation methodology and techniques: DCF, different approaches to valuation;

— Knowledge of financial accounting, good understanding of IFRS, US GAAP;

— CFA, ACCA or DipIFR certification is a plus;

— Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint;

— Strong analytical skills: numeracy, data structuring, and advanced research skills;

— Experience in preparation of analytical documents: presentations, information memorandum, business plan, feasibility study, teaser, etc.;

— Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian;

— Availability to travel
