Product Manager
This position exists to ensure that a group of brands receives strategic and operational support in brand development, planning, and execution. It plays a key role in analyzing brand performance, managing brand-related projects (such as product and packaging updates), and ensuring efficient use of the marketing budget and proper documentation.
Position:
As the Product Manager in the Marketing area, you will:
- Contribute to the development of the long-term growth strategy and annual brand plans
- Ensure targets implementation for the group of brands (agile approach) throughout the year via planned brand initiatives implementation and ad-hoc support set-up across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia markets within corresponding legal frameworks
- Lead new product development gate process; follow-up on key milestones and address necessary changes in deployment plans
- Initiate and lead brand support campaigns development with clear KPIs that will address strategic market’s needs; present developed launch plans to key stakeholders, leading through the required approval process. All to be implemented in close liaison with Brand Managers, HQ Brand groups and Regional team, and wide across other cross functions for high quality and in-time implementation
- Monitor & report projects performance with clear evaluation metrics to highlight potential issues and opportunities, proactively recommend changes in strategic direction in respective channel by exploiting information from internal & external reports and research
- Optimize, manage and control the assigned budget in order to ensure the effective allocation to activities that are in line with the agreed strategies for the brand, and proactively recommend opportunities for additional/optimizing investment
- Effectively manage work within the squad ensuring close collaboration and upskilling of more junior team members.
Requirements:
- University degree (preferably in Marketing or Business Administration)
- 3+ years in brand marketing within international FMCG (NPD launch experience required; tobacco, alcohol, energy drinks experience is a plus)
- Strong experience in BTL, Events, HoReCa, and direct brand activations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- 1–2+ years of team management (a plus)
- Digital marketing and NPD expertise (a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
