Field Supervisor

The Field Supervisor (Drilling Superintendent) will oversee day-to-day gas field operations related to well drilling, completion and testing, beginning with the exploration phase. The position involves control and coordination of drilling operations on 2-3 drilling rigs, ensuring operational safety, compliance with technical requirements and efficient execution of work.

The Field Supervisor (Drilling Superintendent) will manage a team of drilling supervisors and coordinate the activities of the drilling and service contractors to ensure work schedules and budgets are met. Key responsibilities include supervising drilling operations, resolving operational issues and problems, implementing HSE regulations and maintaining operational standards.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 10+ years of experience supervising well drilling, completion & testing on exploration and appraisal projects, preferably within major international companies (O&G Majors or OFSE).
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex operations across multiple drilling sites, including supervision of drilling rigs, crews & service providers.
• Strong knowledge of drilling, completion & data acquisition for gas exploration & appraisal, relevant technologies & equipment.
• Proven track record in implementing and enforcing HSE standards and operational best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively address drilling challenges.
• Degree in Drilling or a related technical discipline.
• Fluency in English & Russian

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Prior experience working with HPHT gas exploration and development projects.
• Experience coordinating operations involving multiple contractors and international service providers.
• Previous work experience in Central Asia, ideally in Uzbekistan.
• Certifications in HSE management and\or specialized training in relevant drilling operations.
• Knowledge of Uzbek or Chinese languages.
