We are looking for a driven, smart and experienced Data Engineer to join our team to work with an innovative loan servicing system that bridges the gap between banks seeking great customers and consumers looking for flexible payment options for their home improvement projects.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Maintain knowledge of evolving industry trends, practices, techniques, and standards on Big Data with focus on AWS cloud technologies and Python/Pyspark from application development perspective;
• Be aware of data-warehousing concepts and different facts/dimension-based modelling mechanisms for implementing in a Datalake environment;
• Create, maintain and improve data integration pipeline, conduct data quality controls for data warehouse and critical data jobs;
• Communicate with the customer side on a daily basis and collaborate with team for implementation of deliverables in all environments;
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance systems, write clean, maintainable, and efficient code;

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Strong experience in data related development using Python and Spark (PySpark);
• Hand-on experience with AWS cloud and using AWS tools on data integration;
• Strong analytical experience with database in writing complex queries, query optimization, debugging, user defined functions, views, indexes etc.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
