Job Summary

The Head of Airport Emergency Management is responsible for leading and coordinating the airport’s emergency preparedness and response framework. The role ensures that the airport maintains a high level of readiness to effectively manage aviation and non-aviation emergencies in accordance with international aviation safety standards.

• Lead and manage the airport’s emergency management system

• Develop, implement, and regularly update the Airport Emergency Response Plan (ERP)

• Coordinate airport departments and external agencies during emergency situations

• Ensure preparedness of airport services for aviation and operational emergencies

• Organize and conduct emergency drills, exercises, and training programs

• Liaise with government authorities, emergency services, and aviation regulators

• Participate in the investigation of incidents and support the development of corrective actions

• Prepare reports and provide updates to senior management regarding emergency preparedness

• Ensure compliance with ICAO standards, aviation safety regulations, and internal policies

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Proven experience in aviation operations, emergency management, safety, or rescue services

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating emergency response operations

• Strong understanding of emergency response planning and crisis management

• Knowledge of ICAO standards and aviation safety regulations will be an advantage

• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills

• English proficiency – Upper-Intermediate or higher

• Work schedule 5 days per week, working hours from 8.00 to 17.00 (lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00)
