Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Driver Relations Agent to serve as the primary point of contact for our drivers. This role is responsible for listening to driver concerns, resolving issues efficiently, and acting as a communication bridge between drivers and internal departments.
The ideal candidate is empathetic, solution-oriented, and able to handle challenges with professionalism and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main contact for driver inquiries, concerns, and complaints
Actively listen and document all driver issues accurately
Coordinate with dispatch, safety, payroll, HR, and other back-office teams to resolve concerns in a timely manner
Follow up with drivers to ensure full resolution and satisfaction
Escalate urgent or complex matters to management when necessary
Maintain detailed and organized records of driver interactions
Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
Support driver retention efforts and contribute to a positive work environment
Promote clear, respectful, and effective communication across departments
Assist in conflict resolution between drivers and internal teams
Previous experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or customer service preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent active listening abilities
High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
