Overall Mission
- This senior role combines leadership of Group Reporting with a mandate to drive digitalization and transformation of finance processes across the organization.
- The position reports directly to the Finance Director Kazakhstan and acts as a strategic partner to senior management, strengthening financial steering, enabling data‑driven decision‑making, and improving efficiency, transparency, and scalability across finance.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Leadership of the Group Reporting Function
- Lead end‑to‑end financial and management reporting in line with IFRS, Group standards, and local requirements ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent reporting.
- Own and manage the reporting calendar, processes, and controls, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Review and approve reporting packages, financial statements, and key KPIs.
- Govern reporting within core systems and oversee adjustments and manual bookings.
- Act as main interface to Group RCC, auditors, and senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement, data integrity, and process optimization within reporting along with enhancement of reporting structures to support executive decision-making and operational steering.
Finance Transformation & Innovation
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives within the finance organization.
- Lead the modernization of financial processes (automation, workflow optimization, digital and AI‑supported tools).
- Increase processes transparency, standardization, data quality, and efficiency in collaboration with Shared Service Center, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and Plant finance teams.
- Act as a change leader, guiding teams through transformation initiatives while fostering ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial Steering & Business Partnering
- Support and act as a key sparring partner to the Finance Director in preparing financial insights for strategic and operational decisions.
- Develop and deliver scenario modelling and forward‑looking analyses, supporting management in evaluating options, risks, and opportunities.
- Play an active role in tender reviews, contract assessments, and pricing decisions, assessing financial impact, reporting implications, and effects on key performance indicators.
- Contribute to and support potential M&A‑related activities, including local due diligence, financial risk assessment, and decision support
Requirements:
Education
- University degree (Master) in business administration or economy with focus on finance
Professional competence
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in financial reporting, FP&A, audit, advisory, or consulting, including 3–5 years in a leadership or people‑management role.
- Deep expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and finance process optimization, with the ability to translate standards into business‑relevant insights.
- Strong SAP expertise is mandatory; experience with system integrations and finance transformations is a clear advantage.
- Experience with data analytics, planning, and budgeting tools, supporting advanced financial steering and decision‑making is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in driving digitalization and automation initiatives across finance processes.
