IT Manager

We’re seeking an experienced, positive driven, entrepreneurial IT manager who can join us on this journey of full digitalization and modernization of Almaty International Airport. IT Manager who will be responsible for overseeing, handling, and directing the day-to-day operations and activities, who can demonstrate high level of confirmed decision-making, initiative and dedication towards changes. In this proactive role, he/she will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions, upgrades and new projects, that will lead toward.

Our ideal candidate also has extensive knowledge of network and systems maintenance, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, he’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

BUSISNESS ALIGNMENT

· Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.

· Ensure alignment of business strategy and goals with IT strategy.

· Support business strategic planning with IT technology and architecture consulting.

· Build relationships with business management.

· Analyze departments needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions

· Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement

· Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs.

SERVICE MANAGEMENT

· Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems.

· Oversee configuration management, incident and problem management, backups, archiving and disaster recovery.

· Ensure that applications meet or exceed SLA targets

· Oversee help desk processes and ensure that internal and external clients receive outstanding service.

· Manage implementation of ITIL service management processes.

· Manage all processes in the service management lifecycle including strategy, design, transition, operations and continual service improvement.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

· Coach and mentor team members to help them grow their careers.

· Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.

· Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science

· 5+ years experience in IT management

· Profound knowledge of English

· Ablility to travel domestically & internationally
