About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and proactive leader to head Digital Imaging business in Kazakhstan. The key objective of this role is to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership of the brand in the photo and video segment. The position carries full business responsibility — from marketing and sales to influencer engagement, partner relations, and end-user outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Digital Imaging category in Kazakhstan in alignment with vendor global strategy.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle including forecasting, pricing, positioning, launches, and performance analysis:
- Manage PSI (sales forecasting and stock control)
- Monitor and optimize category margins, product groups, partner networks, and branded retail
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns in both branded retail and partner channels
- Support and supervise supply chain operations
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at driving category growth, increasing market share, and strengthening brand perception.
- Build and foster partnerships with local influencers, photographers, and videographers to increase product awareness and user engagement.
- Plan and execute events including product launches, workshops, festivals, and community activities for content creators.
- Collaborate closely with global and regional teams across marketing, sales, logistics, and customer service functions.
- Ensure product availability, sales performance, and customer satisfaction in the local market.
- Develop branded retail both in terms of sales growth and brand experience.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the performance of the local team.
Candidate Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, category management, or business leadership within consumer electronics, ideally in the imaging category.
- Proven track record in managing a business or product category at the country level (P&L responsibility is a plus).
- Deep understanding of the photo and video market landscape in Kazakhstan and/or Central Asia.
- Experience in digital campaign execution, influencer marketing, and brand-building initiatives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in Russian and English; knowledge of Kazakh is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal or professional interest in photography or videography.
- Knowledge of Digital Imaging products.
- Experience working with distributor-based business models and partner networks.
- Ability to manage marketing budgets and analyze campaign effectiveness.
