Junior Consultant - Intern/Trainee

As Infrasia Capital and Finasia Capital continue to expand their portfolios across Uzbekistan, the UK, and frontier markets, we are looking for ambitious individuals to join our Graduate Programme. With increasing demand for strategic advisory, project finance, corporate finance, and investment structuring services, we need talented professionals eager to contribute and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The programme begins with a three-month probation period, during which you will rotate across projects at both firms - gaining exposure to infrastructure finance, PPPs, corporate finance, credit advisory, and capital markets. This initial phase is designed to give you hands-on experience, mentoring, and insight into our way of working.

At the end of this period, successful candidates will be invited to continue with us in a permanent role, specialising in the area that best fits their skills and ambitions. Please note that progression to a permanent role is subject to performance during this initial phase.

Graduate Programme Structure

• Months 1–3 (Probation & Rotational Phase): Work across both firms on diverse projects, from PPP structuring and infrastructure finance to corporate advisory, capital markets, and credit solutions. This phase serves as a probation period, allowing you to demonstrate your abilities and fit within the team.
• Specialisation Phase: Following successful completion of probation, you will transition into a permanent role within the firm and practice area where your skills and ambitions align.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market and financial analysis to support project structuring and investment decisions.
• Build financial models and feasibility studies for infrastructure and corporate finance projects.
• Research industry trends, regulatory changes, and investment opportunities in Uzbekistan and frontier markets.
• Prepare client presentations, reports, and investment memos.
• Participate in meetings with senior stakeholders, government entities, and financial institutions.
• Support business development activities, including proposal drafting and client outreach.

What We Look For

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; good working knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Uzbek (Russian is an advantage).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Prior experience in finance, consulting, or investment analysis is a plus, but not required.
