HR Manager (L&D and International Staff Support)

Position Overview: 

As HR Manager, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end recruitment, supporting international hires throughout their relocation and onboarding, and driving internal learning and development initiatives. You'll also contribute to building a strong organizational culture and improving HR systems and processes in a dynamic, international university environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full recruitment cycle: job postings, CV screening, interviews, reference checks, and final feedback.

• Support international staff throughout the relocation journey:

  • Pre-arrival: document collection, visa and work permit processing.

  • Post-arrival: assistance with accommodation search, in-country registration, opening bank accounts, and arranging medical insurance.

• Coordinate onboarding and induction sessions to ensure a smooth start for all new hires.

• Organize and manage Learning & Development activities: staff training, mentoring programs, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through team engagement events and integration initiatives.

• Collaborate on the development and testing of HR software (1C), with a focus on international staff processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in HR, especially in recruitment, onboarding, or international staff support.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with flexibility.

• Experience in an international or academic environment is a plus.

• English fluency is essential; Russian and/or Kazakh language skills are an advantage.
