Position Overview:
As HR Manager, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end recruitment, supporting international hires throughout their relocation and onboarding, and driving internal learning and development initiatives. You'll also contribute to building a strong organizational culture and improving HR systems and processes in a dynamic, international university environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full recruitment cycle: job postings, CV screening, interviews, reference checks, and final feedback.
Support international staff throughout the relocation journey:
Pre-arrival: document collection, visa and work permit processing.
Post-arrival: assistance with accommodation search, in-country registration, opening bank accounts, and arranging medical insurance.
Coordinate onboarding and induction sessions to ensure a smooth start for all new hires.
Organize and manage Learning & Development activities: staff training, mentoring programs, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through team engagement events and integration initiatives.
Collaborate on the development and testing of HR software (1C), with a focus on international staff processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in HR, especially in recruitment, onboarding, or international staff support.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with flexibility.
Experience in an international or academic environment is a plus.
English fluency is essential; Russian and/or Kazakh language skills are an advantage.
