Lead HVAC Engineer

• Ensure that design complies with the relevant procedures, standards and regulations;

• Encourage and maintain the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of engineering work.
• Adhere to and promote the Hatch corporate safety culture
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and advancements in HVAC technology
• Performing heat loss calculations, heat balances, hydraulic calculations for heating networks, aerodynamic calculations for ventilation, calculation of cooling supply for air conditioning and other necessary calculation for design.
• Calculating loads to determine the proper capacity and size of HVAC/thermal mechanical equipment.
• Create system diagrams and layouts drawings using AutoCAD or similar software according to the required design standard.
• Development written documents, equipment Data sheets, Equipment list and MTO in line with GOST/SNIP RoK or the Client's design standards.
• Collaboration with related departments (IDC checking of issued documentation, provision of the necessary information for coordinating the TPD with government agencies).
• Progress report on a weekly/monthly basis to line manager.
• Technical support to Construction (as needed). Site visit, business trip if necessary.
• Identify potential system issues and propose solutions for improving performance and reliability.
• Assist in Tender Bid Evaluations and approval of Tender Bid Evaluation reports including cost estimates, implementation schedules.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with the other engineering disciplines.
• Participation in various workshops conducted by the Client, as necessary.
• Provide support to the project team, share experiences and train juniors in the department;

• Must have sound knowledge and understanding of technical terms and conditions.
• Advanced knowledge in designing field instrumentation and control systems of the projects.
• Familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts.
• Awareness of compliance and audit processes.
• Ability to identify changes and improvements to the technical documentation and procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements.
• Knowledge of computer-based systems including CAD, Database Management systems, Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.
• Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision.
• Systematic thinker and good organizational skills/ time management.
• Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority.
• Team player within and across functions.
• Continuous improvement and professional advancement in the HVAC.

Education: Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement. Master degree is preferred.
Language skills: Russian and English are mandatory. Kazakh is advantageous
Professional experience: Min 10 years of technical experience
