Project Manager

1. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Oversee project planning and implementation to meet objectives and timelines.

• Align activities with government priorities and donor guidelines.

• Serve as the primary liaison between MoPSE, development partners, and funding agencies.

• Team and Resource Management:

• Lead and manage PMU staff and consultants, ensuring high performance and capacity development.

• Oversee transparent recruitment and resource allocation processes.

• Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track project progress through effective monitoring and evaluation systems.

• Prepare consolidated reports, risk assessments, and knowledge-sharing materials.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

• Represent the project in high-level forums and inter-ministerial committees.

• Collaborate with government departments, international partners, and local authorities.

• Knowledge and Communication:

• Capture and share project innovations and lessons learned through knowledge management strategies.

• Oversee the development of communication materials and ensure public awareness of project milestones.

2. Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Project Management, Education, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience managing development projects, ideally with international funding agencies.

• Experience with internationally financed projects (e.g., IsDB, World Bank) is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Uzbek and English (Russian is a plus).
