Middle+/Senior Core Game Designer

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight 4: Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Shadow Fight 4: Arena is the first mobile fighting game featuring real-time synchronous PvP alongside PvE, including a social system where players can make friends and duel with them.

We are looking for an experienced core game designer who will lead the development of new heroes for the game. Our ideal candidate is well familiar with fighting game combat systems, has extensive experience in PvP and RPG games, has experience developing features for complex games from concept to release, and has decent technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle of development of abilities and character sets.

• Collaborate with the technical game design team.

• Interact with content teams and programmers.

• Participate in discussions, brainstorms, and playtests.

Requirements:

• Rich gaming experience, particularly in PvP and RPG games.
• Proven experience being a feature owner.
• Decent communication skills, creative and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of algorithms and formal logic.
• Attention to detail and efficiency, ability to process new information quickly.

Would be a plus:

• Availability of personal projects or jam games.

• Programming skills (Python, C#, C/C++).

• Experience working with Unity.

• Familiarity/knowledge of the Git version system.
