Lead Level Artist (UE5)

Nekki is a game development studio, the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector. The total number of registered users for our games exceeds 1 billion worldwide. We develop and release games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.

Stunning visuals and immersive environment is a key part of one of the studio's leading projects - SPINE. So currently we are looking for a Lead Level Artist to help us create even more amazing locations and help out with organizational tasks of managing the team alongside our existing team lead.

SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It's a third-person beat'em'up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.

Responsibilities:

• Work with level designers and art director on the overall art direction and vision of the project.

• Block out basic ideas, arrange assets.

• Find optimal solutions in visual and functional aspects.

• Work with documentation and according to documentation.

• Perform final polishing of levels, work with micro-compositions.

• Set up lighting.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Unreal Engine.

• Understanding of composition, light, and color principles.

• Basic understanding of game design.

• Professional approach to working with feedback.

• Flexibility and initiative.

• Desire to work in a team.

Will be a plus:

• Experience working on AAA-level projects.

• Experience as a 3D modeler, concept artist, or lighting artist.
