Mobile QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile QA Engineer to join an exciting project for US-based customer in the fleet management domain.
Our client specializes in GPS solutions for vehicle tracking, offering real-time insights and data analytics for businesses of all sizes.
The solution is live and scaling, with a strong in-house mobile engineering team you will collaborate with.

Project Highlights:

• A mature, production-grade fleet management system with GPS devices installed in vehicles, sending data to the cloud for analysis and reporting.

• Tech stack focused on modern, scalable solutions.

• Highly collaborative cross-functional team including an engineering manager, platform leads, and fellow QA professionals.
  

Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end testing of Android and iOS apps across real devices and emulators.

• Test APIs using tools like Postman to validate data flows and backend functionality.

• Write, document, and manually execute detailed and comprehensive test cases.

• Identify, log, and track bugs and inconsistencies across multiple platforms.

• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to maintain high quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

• Work with the QA team to maintain test coverage and suggest process improvements.

• Contribute to or support test automation using tools like Appium (a plus, not mandatory).
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of QA experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).

• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing, real devices, and emulators.

• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Proficiency in testing APIs and using tools such as Postman.

• Excellent skills in writing and maintaining test cases and test documentation.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and build automation.

• Experience working with remote teams and strong communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.

• Strong English for direct communication with the client (B1+ and higher).

• Availability for partial overlap with US working hours (up to 8 PM Minsk time).
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Appium.

• Previous work on GPS, mapping, or fleet management apps.
