Role Overview

As a Media Outreach Manager, you will lead our content placement strategy to drive traffic and enhance visibility on platforms like Google Discover. Your role will focus on securing strategic media partnerships and managing article placements to connect our AI product with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Sourcing: Identify and evaluate non-Tier-1 media outlets for article placements, focusing on AI-related topics. Use tools like Google News, Google Discover, MSN.com, and Adsy.com to source and verify platforms.

• Negotiations: Negotiate with media platforms to secure cost-effective terms, targeting discounts for bulk placements (10+ articles). Build and maintain strong relationships with platform contacts.

• Publication Management: Oversee the article placement process, ensuring timely publication, correct section placement, and adherence to agreed terms. Monitor bulk placement agreements for compliance.

• Follow-ups: Proactively communicate with platforms via email, LinkedIn, or other channels to ensure timely responses and successful placements.

What We’re Looking For

• Language Skills: Fluent English (B2+ level).

• Digital Media Knowledge: Familiarity with digital media ecosystems, including SEO, Google News, and Google Discover.

• Negotiation Skills: Confidence in negotiating with media platforms or editors to secure favorable terms.

• Experience: Prior experience in media outreach, PR, content syndication, or link-building is preferred but not required.

• Key Qualities: Fast learner, proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
