We are looking for a high caliber candidate with strong business acumen to unleash your high potential, starting as Finance Manager.
Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan
Reporting to General Manager
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership to drive organization profit and loss performance
- Lead the forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Share the right financial information to all stakeholders to enable fact-based business decisions with balance of business opportunities and associated risks
- Present reports to the local and regional senior management (be able to present, explain and challenge business results as well as provide ideas of improvement of profitability and capital efficiency)
- Manage cash-flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations
- Actively participate in management meetings, contribute to discussions on company business steering, deliver analysis and provide insights for performance drivers, forecast future trend, co-create solutions and participate in actions to improve business result
- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial performance and archive company objectives
- Manage external and internal audits
- Lead and mentor finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams
Qualifications
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Master’s degree is preferred
- Professional certification ACCA or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a financial, consultancy or auditing role within a multinational organization (preferably in FPA, Finance controlling, Finance management roles)
- Proven experience in business planning & modelling, financial planning & analysis, strong understanding of IFRS
- Excellent command in English, both written and spoken
- Excel, PPT, Power BI
- Evidence of acting as a strategic business partner through influencing and interacting with key stakeholders across a matrix organization.
- A strong business acumen together with pro-active behaviour, and conceptual thinking
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to structure clear presentations and to simplify a financial message to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
