The Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of DeFacto's operations in Kazakhstan, driving sales, profitability, and brand development. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong understanding of the Kazakh retail market and a proven track record of achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive country strategy to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Provide strategic guidance and direction to the country team.
Sales and Operations Management:
Oversee the performance of all retail stores and e-commerce operations in Kazakhstan.
Optimize store operations, inventory management, and customer service to maximize sales and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Business Development:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, suppliers, and government officials.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the retail industry, preferably in the fashion sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets in the Kazakh market.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Excellent understanding of the Kazakh retail landscape, including consumer behavior and market trends.
Fluency in English and Russian, Kazakh language. Turkish is a plus.
