The Neuroimaging and Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at the Center for Neurobiology and Brain Rehabilitation has open position for a Postdoctoral Researcher. The Lab is led by Prof. Yury Koush.

Key Responsibilities:

Highly motivated and talented researcher will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in a few major research directions:

• Human in vivo behavioral and multimodal neuroimaging data analyses (functional MRI and EEG) at 3T. This includes conventional EEG and fMRI data analyses, statistical analyses on individual and group levels;
• Writing in English in neuroimaging and cognitive neuroscience themes rooted in perception, attention and emotion regulation;
• Potential exists for applications of machine learning approaches for multimodal neuroimaging and cognitive neuroscience.

There are opportunities for additional training programs, experimental and analytical research, creative formulations of novel research questions, mentoring students and trainees. There are possibilities to actively engage in ongoing National and International collaborations.

Requirements:

• A PhD degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, MR Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields;
• Excellent academic credentials, including a convenient publication record including first authorship (Q1);
• Sufficient written and verbal communication English skills (which is a lab scientific communication language);
• Experience with scientific computing, including but not limited to computational (Python, MATLAB) and statistical (R, SPSS, FSL, SPM) methods;
• Experience in advanced analysis (e.g., machine learning, neural network modelling) is a plus.
