Senior Accountant (Accounting & Reporting) investment company

Financial investment company is looking for an Senior accountant (based in Cyprus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Control & Reporting: Establishing and maintaining rigorous control over financial flows and operational expenditures within the logistics chain.
• Data Analysis: Managing and interpreting large datasets using advanced Excel models to identify discrepancies, optimize costs, and improve overall financial efficiency.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Implementing strict anti-fraud measures and ensuring all operations adhere to corporate financial standards and security protocols.
• Strategic Collaboration: Working closely with the CFO and logistics department to reorganize supply chain frameworks and implement data-driven decision-making processes.
• Coordinate with Operations department on data reconciliation, data collection as well as on integration of back office into accounting system;
• Preparation of detailed monthly management reports;
• Analyze financial information to provide a clear summary of the company’s financial status;
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable accounting principles;
• Report on financial findings and offer actionable recommendations for improvement;
• Assist the CFO in budget preparation, adhering to set timelines;
• Perform any additional duties as requested by the CFO that align with the role.
• Performance Monitoring: Developing and tracking KPIs to ensure operational targets are met with maximum cost-effectiveness.

• Educated to bachelor’s degree level or the equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Hold a professional accounting qualification such as the ACCA or ACA
• Solid accounting experience.
• Mandatory prior experience in a similar role within the bank or investment company.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formula use and pivot tables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

5+ years in similar position in Banks or Investment Firms

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Highly organized
• A high level of confidentiality.
• The flexibility and willingness to learn.
• English -C1,C2
