The scope of the services required from Process Analyst will include:
Conduct thorough assessments of current healthcare processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Assess the impact of existing processes on patient care and organizational efficiency.
Create detailed process maps and flowcharts to visually represent current workflows, aiding in understanding and analysis.
Develop "to-be" process maps to illustrate optimized workflows after recommended improvements.
Regularly update and refine process maps as processes evolve and new improvements are implemented.
Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for inefficiencies or problems within processes.
Validate root causes with stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding and alignment.
Formulate specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) recommendations for process improvement, aligning with DHMU goals and objectives.
Prioritize recommendations based on impact, feasibility, and available resources.
Work with stakeholders to implement and manage process changes, including training, communication, and monitoring.
Develop change management plans that address potential resistance and ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Provide hands-on support to ensure successful integration of new workflows.
Develop and maintain process documentation, ensuring consistency and clarity for all stakeholders.
Standardize processes across departments to ensure uniformity and efficiency in operations.
Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Track and monitor the impact of implemented process changes, collecting data and reporting on improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of process improvements.
Generate detailed reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting both successes and areas that require further optimization.
Lead regular process review sessions to identify new areas for improvement and celebrate successful changes.
Work effectively with healthcare professionals, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and build consensus around process improvements.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster collaboration and co-create solutions.
Ensure transparent communication between all parties involved, providing regular updates on progress and next steps.
