The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified CDL drivers to meet company staffing goals. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and experienced in transportation recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
Source and attract qualified CDL drivers through job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels
Conduct phone and video interviews to assess driver qualifications and experience
Verify employment history, driving records, and compliance requirements
Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial contact to onboarding
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates
Meet weekly and monthly hiring targets
Requirements
Minimum 3 months of experience in driver recruiting, transportation recruiting, or a related field
Strong understanding of the U.S. trucking industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
English proficiency level: C1 (Advanced) – both written and spoken
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Experience with recruiting platforms and ATS systems preferred
