Lead Teacher – Grade 0 (English Immersion Program)

Important: This is not a traditional "ESL Teacher" role. We are looking for a Class Teacher who will deliver a holistic primary curriculum—including Math, Science, and Art—entirely in English. You will be the primary mentor for these children, shaping their very first academic experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

• Subject-Based Instruction: Deliver daily lessons in Mathematics (Numeracy), Literacy (Phonics), Science (World Discovery), and Art—all through the medium of English.

• Full Immersion: Create a natural English-speaking environment where students learn to think and communicate in English throughout the day.

• Game-Based Learning: Turn complex foundational concepts into engaging, interactive games and hands-on projects suitable for ages 5–6.

• Social & Academic Adaptation: Guide children through their transition from preschool to a structured school environment, fostering discipline and emotional intelligence.

• Creative Leadership: Organize themed weeks, musical breaks, and extracurricular activities to keep engagement and energy high.

Candidate Requirements:

• English Proficiency: IELTS 7.0+ (C1 level) is mandatory. Near-native pronunciation is essential as you are the primary language model for the children.

• Education: A degree in Primary/Preschool Pedagogy or English Philology.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience teaching young learners (KG or early primary grades).

• Skillset: Ability to explain "big" concepts (like basic math or nature) in simple, fun, and charismatic ways.

• Personal Qualities: High energy, extreme patience, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

Preferred:

• International certifications (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or Montessori).

• Experience in private or international schools.
