MYP Individuals and Societies Teacher (History, Geography, Economics, Global Politics, Sociology/Ant

Responsibilities:

• Teach Individuals and Societies within the framework of the International Baccalaureate (MYP).

• Deliver engaging lessons in history, geography, economics, global politics, and sociology/anthropology.

• Plan and develop curriculum materials in alignment with International Baccalaureate standards.

• Foster students’ critical thinking, source analysis, and research skills.

• Conduct formative and summative assessments.

• Maintain academic records and required documentation.

• Participate in school events, projects, and parent meetings.

• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field.

• Previous experience in international schools is an advantage.

• Knowledge of the MYP framework is preferred.

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

• Strong communication skills, responsibility, and enthusiasm for working with adolescents.
