Andersen is looking for a Solidity Engineer to build and evolve a blockchain platform, developing smart contracts and core protocol components for decentralized financial and governance solutions.
The customer the international non-profit organization that provides a governance and legal framework for a decentralized digital infrastructure, bringing together multiple industry participants to support secure collaboration, community-driven development, and the evolution of technology-enabled financial services on a global scale.
The project is focused on building and evolving a blockchain platform through the design and implementation of smart contracts and core protocol components. It covers areas such as consensus mechanisms, NFT governance, DeFi features, and wallet integrations, with close collaboration across an agile blockchain engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and maintaining advanced smart contracts using Solidity.
- Writing comprehensive tests and building innovative solutions on the chain.
- Integrating ERC-20 assets with bridge protocols such as Axelar or LayerZero.
- Working with external auditors to ensure the highest level of security and transparency.
- Providing technical support for the frontend team to interact with contracts.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Solidity Engineer for 2+ years.
- Proven experience in Solidity and smart contract development using Foundry or Hardhat, Truffle, Brownie, Ape (with readiness to switch on Foundry in work).
- Familiarity with blockchain bridging technologies, protocols, and general message passing (GMP).
- Desire to innovate and build new things.
- Deep knowledge of proof of stake consensus mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, sidechains, bridging solutions, and blockchain fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with Polygon, Cosmos, Axelar, and General Message Passing (LayerZero, Axelar, CCIP/CCTP, Wormhole, etc.).
- Participation with a project that launched a sidechain or Layer 2 solution.
- Insight on the integration between smart contracts and blockchain states.
- Open-source contributions.
- Web3 experience.
- Experience with permissioned blockchain systems and NFTs is highly desirable.
