Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Proactively source and convert new leads for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).
- Conduct site inspections and show-rounds of the hotel’s event spaces to potential clients.
- Prepare professional proposals and contracts, ensuring competitive pricing while maximizing hotel profitability.
Negotiate terms and conditions in accordance with hotel policies and revenue goals.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Work closely with the operations and F&B teams to ensure all event details (AV equipment, catering, room setup) are communicated accurately via BEOs (Banquet Event Orders).
- Provide on-site support during key events to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Follow up with clients post-event to collect feedback and secure repeat business.
Strategy & Revenue Management:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity regarding event packages and catering prices.
- Utilize the hotel’s CRM and PMS (e.g., Opera) to manage bookings, maintain client databases, and generate sales reports.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal event promotions and wedding/conference packages.
Financial Accountability:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the Banquet and Events department.
- Ensure timely billing and collection of deposits/payments from clients.
