Senior engineer-inspector / Inspection coordination

Follow POD Turnaround structure and QM plan, Turnaround strategy.
Coordinate contractor and company appointed Focal point team (Inspection, QAQC, Mech, Turnaround team, Engineering etc.)
Monitor execution performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Review Work Pack/Scope of work and advise QAQC, Scheduling, Resource planning inputs;
Participate in turnaround planning meetings to define weld overlay strategy, resources, and execution sequence.
Provide technical assistance to Planner, Designer, Execution, Engineering, Contractors.
Auditing Contractor and working with CAR/PAR/Observation.
ITPs, Method Statements, and QA/QC requirements. Material specifications (filler metals, base materials, PWHT requirements)
Arrangement and coordination of inspections for works performed by Contractors (Hydro test, welding works, painting works, E&I, NDE inspections ect).
Track and quality check outstanding Punch items
Verify completion of weld overlay work as per scope and specifications.
Support final inspection, punch list closure, and mechanical completion activities.
Provide technical input for future turnaround improvements and long-term integrity planning.
Close outstanding QAQC document in Electronical date base (EDMS, Roser, SAP and etc).

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering.
5-10-year experience in TA and maintenance with experience as a coordinator with accountability for delivering various scope of work in weld overlay/cladding, preferably in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical turnarounds.
Strong knowledge of corrosion-resistant overlays (CRA), dilution control, and weld metallurgy.
Familiar with ASME Section IX, API 582/577, AWS standards, and client specifications.
Has experience with contractor and company QAQC employees.

The QAQC Coordinators shall have good understanding of various technical disciplines and documenting including of the Technical Authority process and assurance requirement.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Valid certificate of Welding Inspector (CWI, CSWIP, or equivalent) is mandatory
Valid certificate is required ISO 9712 (VT, RT, UT Lev2) is mandatory
Welding Engineer skill – is an advantage.
Project Manager skill – mandatory
