Head of Communications

Ardingly Astana seeks the Head of Communications to direct external and internal communications of the School. The Head of Communications will be a key public face for the School, responsible for the organisation, development, implementation and leadership of all matters related to admissions, marketing, communications and external relations in close liaison with the Headmaster and the General Director.

This pivotal role focuses on driving enrollment growth, enhancing engagement with our pupils and families, and strengthening the school’s presence within the wider community.

Communications and Public Relations: The Head of Communications will be responsible for providing strategic direction and execution of marketing and communications to new and prospective families, generating innovative, mission-aligned initiatives to propel Ardingly Astana to grow. The Head of Communications will act as the School Ambassador and ensure that all opportunities in marketing the school and reaching students and families are professionally executed. The Head of Communications represent the school at events and wherever and whenever needed, always advocating for its best interests and growth.

Enrollment Growth and Retention: The Head of Communications will be responsible for managing the school's admission process from inquiry to integration into the school, overseeing all admission events, and working closely with the admissions and staff to promote the school in order to attract new families and retain current ones and will be engaged in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, admissions metrics. This role wil drive school growth, and communicate progress to the General Director.

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• Proven experience in communications, preferably within education or related sectors.
• Strong strategic thinking with hands-on marketing execution skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and analytics.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Track record of achieving growth targets or measurable “sales” outcomes.
