Data Analyst (Middle+ / Senior)

We are hiring a hands-on Data Analyst to join a small analytics team. The role requires broad technical ownership and the ability to work end-to-end in a low-bureaucracy environment.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Use Python for data analysis, automation, and working with APIs.
• Work with and reason about data pipelines (data ingestion, transformations, reliability).
• Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports for product and operational metrics.
• Translate business questions into clear metrics, definitions, and visualizations.
• Take ownership of analytical tasks from problem definition to final output.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering in an iterative setup.
• Communicate progress, risks, and results clearly and proactively.
• Provide and accept direct, actionable feedback.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills (writing and reading non-trivial queries).

• Good Python proficiency (data processing, integrations, basic engineering tasks).

• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Metabase, Superset, Holistics).

• Understanding of metric design and data visualization best practices.

• Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data quality, pipeline behavior).

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role.

• Comfortable working independently and making technical decisions.

• Able to operate in a fast feedback loop with minimal hand-holding.
