Position: IT Officer

We are looking for an experienced IT Officer to provide high-quality technical support, administer core IT systems, and participate in infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on specialist who enjoys both user support and system administration.
Coordinate technical support for computers and mobile devices, including repair, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and testing of hardware, software, network connections, and peripherals.
Adjust and optimize hardware and software configurations according to changing business and system requirements.
Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory for the local environment.
Build, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades, including administration of local VMware ESX infrastructure.
Act as a quality-control point for desktop support, helping to develop and implement procedures and policies that ensure efficient and effective IT support.
Support and administer enterprise applications such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and two-factor authentication (2FA).
Configure and support email and calendar accounts on mobile devices and desktop clients.
Maintain and support remote control and mobile device management (MDM) solutions (for example, LANDesk, MaaS360) for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Serve as a technical resource for users, assisting with equipment and data issues; implement solutions or escalate to other teams when needed.
Research, recommend, and help implement new technologies, improvements, purchases, policies, and procedures; stay informed about relevant IT developments and trends.
Use independent decision-making and project management skills to lead technical projects from initiation to completion, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and coordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Work as part of a team to standardize, test, and deploy supported software packages.
Monitor systems for security issues; run and maintain protective software, perform virus removal, backup and recovery; update operating systems and security tools and identify necessary preventive measures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working proficiency in English (at least B1) and Russian (Uzbek is an advantage)
Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in IT support and/or system administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Active Directory.
Experience with VMware ESX or similar virtualization platforms.
Experience with MDM/remote management tools for endpoints.
Good understanding of networks, hardware, and enterprise applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive).
Basic project management skills and ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
