Senior Frontend Engineer (React, Express)

The project is a web application that provides a number of features and services for emergency services, government, and volunteer workers.
The platform implements a number of automations in the area of tracking and reporting of the emergency services, capturing the documents, and supporting the workflow for the emergency services' daily work. This will be a greenfield project: most of the implementation will need to be done from scratch.

The technical stack of the webapp is React, Express.js, and AWS services.

This is a full-time position that will require 40 hours of your time on a weekly basis.

Your timezone needs to be GMT+5 or earlier, as some overlap with the Australian working day will be required.

What you’ll do:

⁃ design and develop the frontend layer from scratch - based on the prepared design mock-ups and wireframes
⁃ support integration with the backend, implement basic logic in Express.js where applicable

What you’ll need:

⁃ 3+ years of development experience using React
⁃ understanding of the Express.js fundamentals and readiness to work with Express.js logic when needed (main focus will remain on the frontend)
⁃ ability to communicate in English on calls and in chats

⁃ understanding of AWS backend principles (lambdas, serverless) is a plus
⁃ experience in building React Native mobile applications is a plus
