Job Summary (Revised on 13 November)

We are seeking a passionate International Student Recruiter based in Kazakhstan to support Woosong University Kazakhstan Campus strategy by recruiting qualified and motivated Kazakh students for our undergraduate programs at Woosong University.

The students will have 3 types of opportunities:

• Studying full bachelor’s degree at Woosong University Korea campus.
• Studying full Bachelor’s degree at Woosong University at Kazakhstan campus.
• Studying bachelor’s degree at Woosong University Kazakhstan with a pathway leading to Korea campus through exchange, dual degree programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Recruitment & Outreach

• Promote Woosong University’s programs to prospective Kazakhstan students and their families.
• Organize and participate in local education fairs, school visits, info sessions, seminars, and webinars.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on programs, admissions requirements, scholarships, visa procedures, and student life at Woosong.
• Build and maintain relationships with high schools, universities, private education, and government scholarship bodies in Kazakhstan.

This position is ideal for someone who understands the Kazakh education landscape and has a proven track record in student recruitment, education consulting, or international admissions. Relevant experience in education, however, is preferred but not mandatory.

Application Support & Conversion

• Guide students throughout the application process, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
• Screen and assess student qualifications to ensure applicants meet Woosong’s entry requirements.

Marketing & Communications

• Manage and maintain relationships with local high schools.
• Localize and distribute marketing materials in Kazakhstan and English.
• Create and manage online campaigns, social media content, and promotional activities tailored for the Kazakhstan market.
• Collect market intelligence and provide feedback on trends, competitor activities, and student expectations.

Reporting & Administration

• Submit monthly recruitment activity reports and student pipeline updates to the Director.
• Meet quarterly and annual recruitment targets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local and Kazakh regulations concerning student recruitment.
• Ad hoc instructions by management for special tasks

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree

Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English (both written and spoken) Preferred (not mandatory)

Experience in sales and marketing or international student recruitment

Experience working in education setting

Existing network with local high schools, education agents, and scholarship foundations
