Location: CST Campus, Tashkent, UzbekistanPosition SummaryTeaching Assistants are assigned to a specific class or grade level and provide direct support to the assigned Homeroom Teacher. They assist with classroom instruction, student supervision, and administrative tasks while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Support○ Assist the Homeroom Teacher in daily instructional activities and routines.
○ Provide individual or small group support to students as directed.
○ Help manage learning centers, classroom resources, and materials.
2. Student Supervision & Care○ Supervise students during lessons, transitions, breaks, and non-instructional times.
○ Support student well-being through positive and inclusive practices.
○ Assist in addressing individual student needs and promoting a caring environment.
3. Administrative Assistance○ Prepare classroom materials, displays, and resources as directed.
○ Assist with record-keeping and classroom organization.
○ Support teachers with assessment preparation and documentation.
4. Collaboration & Communication○ Follow guidance and direction from the assigned Homeroom Teacher.
○ Communicate observations about student progress or concerns.
○ Participate in meetings and training sessions as required by the Vice Principal.
5. General Responsibilities○ Support CST's mission, vision, and values.
○ Follow CST policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
○ Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
○ Engage in professional development opportunities.
Required QualificationsEducation● High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Early Childhood or Education preferred
Experience● Experience working with children
● Prior classroom or childcare support experience helpful
Skills & Competencies● Ability to support young learners in an inclusive classroom environment
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Patience, reliability, and teamwork
● Fluency in English
