We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to manage the core platform and backend services. This role requires knowledge of the fintech domain, technical expertise, and leadership skills.
Main tasks:
- Formulate and communicate the product vision, its goals, and strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape product roadmaps.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Translate business needs into clear tasks for the team (epics, stories, acceptance criteria).
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, breaking down large features into epics and detailed development tasks.
- Prioritise tasks based on value, risk, and complexity.
- Work with the architect on architecture, data flows, and requirements.
- Identify market trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure releases comply with security and confidentiality requirements.
- Monitor release readiness, documentation, and ensure timely delivery of product.
- Use metrics and data to make decisions and evaluate the product.
What you need to know and be able to apply:
- Strong agile, Scrum/Kanban knowledge.
- Jira, Confluence, MS Office experience.
- Integration basic understanding.
- Experience in fin-tech domain.
- Confident work with documentation (User Story Mapping, user stories, AC).
- Diagrams and modelling (BPMN, sequences, components).
- Working with security and regulatory equirements.
- Experience with metrics, SLAs, and decision making.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in fintech product management.
- High education (preferably in IT or economics field).
- Minimum 10 years of general experience in the IT field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Owner position (in IT projects).
- Ability to work with technical teams and complex systems.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- English C1+.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in an office in Minsk.
- PSPO/CSPO certifications are a plus.
