Andersen is hiring a System/Business Analyst for a digital bank. The project aims to enhance a mortgage platform through automation, integrations, and AWS migration.
The customer is a new kind of bank founded in 2016. It focuses on distinct client segments that are underserved by the market, creating innovative products to meet their needs. The company offers white-labeled products with no upfront investment for certain industries and businesses.
The project is focused on maintaining and enhancing a mortgage platform, improving system stability and functionality through initiatives such as credit agency integration updates, automated payment services, and migration to AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Producing project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals).
- To work closely with the techncial lead and Engineer to gain in-depth understanding of technology stack, services and technical roadmap.
- Run any workshops/one-on-one interviews/working group sessions to elicit detailed requirements from key stakeholders.
- Create detailed technical specs, acceptance criteria and data specs to support User Stories.
- Review draft requirements with product owners, functional SME’s and/or relevant build partners.
- Prepare documentation for sign-off and host design review sessions/ working group sessions with stakeholders and multiple SME’s.
- Resolve design related queries during implementation and/or build.
- Be a key contributor in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure alignment with the development team’s activities. (where required).
Must-haves:
- Experience as a System/Business Analyst for 4+ years.
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications, with banking experience as a must.
- Demonstrable track record in technical analysis and requirements gathering.
- The ability to translate business concepts into technical requirements (and vice versa when explaining concepts to stakeholders).
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders and varying levels within organisations.
- Experienced in Agile delivery methods and practices especially User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (beneficial).
- Experience of using Business Analysis and change tools such as Jira, Confluence, GSuite, LucidChart or similar.
- Excellent verbal reasoning and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
