As a DevOps Sr. System Analyst at Netcracker, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient DevOps solutions to support our software development & deployment processes.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to understand requirements, create system design, document solution and drive the adoption of best practices.
The preferred candidate should bring 5-10 years of cumulative experience with expert knowledge in DevOps tools, processes & best practices with good foundation of software development(SWE), System Design, Integration, Tools Design, RESTful API consumption and development.
Responsibilities
Responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient DevOps solutions to support our software development lifecycle.
Create and maintain comprehensive system design documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and technical specifications.
Analyze business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions that align with DevOps best practices.
Utilize various UML design techniques and tools to model system architecture, interactions, and components effectively.
Design and develop DevOps tools and products to optimizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and facilitating seamless customer deployments.
Requirements:
Good understanding of system design principles and experience in designing scalable, high-performance systems.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with IaaC & CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
Software development experience with proficiency in one of the development languages such as Java, Python, or similar
Knowledge of different microservice communication methods, including synchronous (HTTP/REST, gRPC), asynchronous (MQ, Kafka), and event-driven (Webhooks, Pub/Sub).
Proficient in creating comprehensive system design documentation using UML design techniques and tools.
Extensive experience with integration of various systems, services, and APIs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
