The role requires regular long-term business trips to Erevan, since this role plays a key role in shaping the company's future growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a key strategic role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to boost business growth. The Head of Business Development is accountable for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through effective marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record in business planning and marketing communication, specifically as an expert in the Mass Segment (Mobile/Fixed/FMC (B2B/B2C)).
Team Structure: Mass Segment (Mobile/Fixed/FMC (B2B/B2C)), TV Services & Content Division, VAS and Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development and Business Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability across mobile, fixed/FMC, TV, and digital business lines.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, ensuring the company remains competitive.
- Collaborate with senior management to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
- Business Growth:
- Drive revenue growth through innovative business development initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansions.
- Develop pricing strategies and business models to maximize revenue and market share.
- Product Development:
- Lead the development and enhancement of products and services across the business lines.
- Work closely with IT and technical teams to ensure products meet market demands and customer needs.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch analysis.
- Analytics:
- Utilize data analytics to inform business decisions, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Competitive Performance:
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market positioning. o Develop strategies to outperform competitors and enhance the company’s market position.
- Implement initiatives to increase customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team.
- Foster a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams, including sales, IT, technical, finance, and operations.
KNOWLEDGE/SOFT SKILLS:
- Education: A suitable candidate will have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Product/Marketing Management, or an equivalent in working experience.
- Experience: Leadership role in telecommunications, preferably in the Mass Segment (Fixed/FMC) across fast-paced, constantly changing environments, complex/matrix leadership style.
- Leadership/People Skills: As the Head of Products, Growth, and Operations, the candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills with an ability to move their peers as well as juniors and have them follow a common vision. Great leadership should further be coupled with excellent people skills.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to create and execute long-term business plans.
- Integrity and Vision: Future-oriented visionary, a person with high integrity, consistent in their work, and with clear and practical values. The ideal candidate is an inspiration for the team, especially during crisis management and delivering within tight deadlines to effectively lead the product management team even in times of uncertainty.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are a must for this position, allowing collaboration and communication across the different layers of the team and cross-functionally.
- Analytical Skills: The candidate should demonstrate a high level of analytical and quantitative skills. They should possess the ability to use information/data and various metrics to develop an informed and factual business case.
