The Global Engagement Specialist is responsible for identifying, organizing, and managing student engagement opportunities both locally and internationally. This role supports the school’s mission to foster global citizenship and provide students with enriching academic and extracurricular experiences through participation in competitions, Olympiads, and collaborative events with other educational institutions worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and identifying academic, cultural, and sports events suitable for student participation in Uzbekistan and abroad.
- Coordinating the full cycle of student involvement in events: application, registration, logistics, transportation, and accommodation.
- Overseeing the visa support process, including coordination with state agencies and embassies.
- Managing event-related budgeting and financial planning in coordination with the finance department.
- Communicating event details effectively to students, parents, university staff, and external partners.
- Serving as the primary liaison between the university and international/local event organizers.
- Drafting formal communications, announcements, consent forms, and travel documents in English, Uzbek, and Russian.
- Ensuring compliance with institutional policies, local laws, and international travel requirements.
- Providing post-event reporting, including student feedback, media coverage, and performance evaluation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Education, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an international school, university, or organization managing student events, travel, and engagement activities.
- Demonstrated experience in working with state agencies for visa processing and travel arrangements.
- Proven experience in coordinating large-scale logistics, including financial planning and stakeholder communication.
Skills and Competencies:
- Fluency in English, Uzbek, and Russian – both written and spoken.
- Strong written communication skills; ability to draft official correspondence, reports, and promotional materials.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including parents, students, and external partners.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).

Working Conditions:
