Senior HVAC Engineer

Senior HVAC Engineer - leading engineer for design, calculation and implementation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) in buildings and industrial facilities.

Main tasks:

• Design of systems: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sometimes - chilled water systems.
• Heat engineering and aerodynamic calculations.
• Selection of equipment (chillers, boilers, fan coils, VRF systems, air ducts).
• Development of drawings (P&ID, layout drawings, ductwork schemes).
• Coordination with other sections (electrics, water supply, architecture).
• Author's and technical supervision at the construction site.
• Management of a team of HVAC engineers and draftsmen.
• Checking and approving design documentation.
• Solving complex engineering problems and optimizing projects.
• Communication with customers and contractors, protection of technical solutions.
• Responsibility for quality, deadlines and compliance with standards.

Key skills:

• Knowledge of thermal engineering and aerodynamics.
• Higher technical education with emphasis on Mechanical/Piping Engineering
• Relevant work experience - not less than 5 years.
• Spoken and written English and Russian language skills required, Kazakh language skills highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP (Hourly Analysis Program), Carrier E20-II, DuctSizer.
• Understanding of international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, EN, SNiP).
• Project management skills.
• Ability to work with BIM models.
