Senior marketing manager (gamedev, MOBA)

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager with experience in gamedev and fluent English for a remote work position in Russia.

Our client is an international game developer and publisher with its HQ in China. It was founded in 2014.

There are 1600 employees worldwide from LATAM to Asia.

They are one of the most famous pioneers in mobile MOBA game development.

One of their flagship product is an award-winning mobile MOBA game. It has over 1.5 billion installations and a MAU base of over 110 million players, as well as being among the top 10 most-played games in 80 countries.

About the role

A marketing manager will be part of a 5-person Russian marketing team, led by a Marketing Team Lead.

A marketer will be responsible for the EECA region (Eastern Europe and Central Asia), including Russia.

Your future tasks

• Thoroughly understand local gaming market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities, and formulate effective market expansion strategies to increase the game's market share in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

• Actively seek, identify, and establish connections with potential partners in EECA. Proactively promote our game and reach cooperation intentions.

• Identify and evaluate local traffic channels in the EECA region. This includes exploring various online digital advertising platforms to drive user acquisition and increase brand awareness.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant local authorities in EECA. Keep abreast of government policies and regulations related to the gaming industry, and ensure that our operations are in compliance.

• Set and strive to achieve business expansion goals in EECA, including the growth of key indicators.

• Assist in formulating and implementing market promotion plans in EECA to enhance the popularity and reputation of the company's products.

We expect from you

• Strong marketing experience in the gamedev industry in Russia (understanding local specifics and effective marketing channels — digital and offline).

• Knowledge of MOBA games (as a marketer or a gamer).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• English language at C1 level (all internal communications are in English).

• Fluence the Russian language (for communications with influencers).
