Our team assists organisations with both buy side and sell side due diligence services. As part of our team, you’ll help us provide both big corporates and financial institutions with peace of mind by analysing and providing your insights on all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made.
PwC Deals helps clients raise capital and complete acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic alliances. We bring solid industry experience and international connections to deliver the value our clients are looking for across the deal spectrum, from concept to close and beyond.
Role Responsibilities:
Participate in financial due diligence assignments in the context of buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, servicing both corporate and private equity clients;
Analyse and present financial information (i.e. Income statement, Balance sheet and Cash flow statements), as well as underlying key performance drivers;
Add value to the transaction by transforming key findings into price adjustments and proposed warranties;
Assess key valuation metrics used to bridge Enterprise and Equity value by analysing underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements and net (financial) debt;
Provide insight on other (non-) financial risks and opportunities specific to the business and relevant to consider in a transaction context;
Adding or forming financial, commercial, and business views to help the target, client and investors in their decision making;
Supporting PwC offices across Eurasia and other PwC offices on regional and cross border transactions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, math or statistics with average grade (GPA) of at least 3.3 preferably from a reputable/ international university;
0-2 years of experience in audit, financial due diligence, corporate finance or private equity;
ACCA or CFA certification is highly desirable;
Complex problem-solving skills using data-driven insights, accounting and finance knowledge;
Strong command of spoken and written Russian and English (ability to express your thoughts clearly in Uzbek language is an asset);
Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines;
Strong time management and organising skills;
Confident communication skills and ability to deliver messages with impact to a wide variety of audiences;
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail;
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
