You'll leverage your deep expertise in Siemens technologies and a broad understanding of industrial controls to deliver robust and efficient automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and programming of automation systems, with a primary focus on Siemens PLCs.
- Perform comprehensive electrical design using ePlan for control panels, machinery, and industrial installations.
- Design and implement industrial network protocols such as Profibus/Profinet to ensure seamless communication.
- Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutions for intuitive system control and monitoring.
- Design, program, and integrate safety systems, including Siemens Safety PLCs and devices like light curtains and laser area scanners.
- Apply expertise in machine vision and measurement systems to integrate vision sensors and laser analog sensors.
- Provide hands-on electrical installation and wiring, including conduit bending and control cabinet wiring.
- Troubleshoot and maintain complex automation systems, utilizing instrumentation and testing equipment (e.g., multipurpose testers, oscilloscopes).
- Apply principles of hydro-electric, electro-pneumatic, and electro-mechanical theories in practical applications.
Required Skills & Experience: - Extensive experience in developing industrial automation systems, particularly with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal.
- Strong proficiency in electrical design using ePlan.
- Deep knowledge of industrial electronic equipment and devices, including PLCs, power supplies, servo drives, control panels, contactors, relays, limit switches, and proximity sensors.
- Proven expertise in industrial network protocols, specifically Profibus/Profinet.
- Demonstrated experience with HMI development, servo motors, drives, and associated control software.
- In-depth knowledge of safety system design and implementation, including programming Siemens Safety PLCs and integrating safety devices.
- Good understanding of machine vision and measurement systems, including various vision sensors and laser analog sensors.
- Practical, hands-on experience with all types of electrical work, including basic wiring, conduit bending, control cabinet wiring, and general installations.
- Comprehensive mechanical experience, encompassing motion control, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Long-term experience working with specialized instrumentation and testing equipment (e.g., multipurpose testers, oscilloscopes).
