Senior BI Developer / Старший BI Разработчик

Data tech is a young and fast-growing team, the main IT partner of the e-commerce function in implementing quality data solutions and developing a culture of data management for effective growth in the online channel.

Accountabilities:

• Create data visualizations and reports to unlock sales & share trends across e-commerce
• Together with the Technical Product Lead gather, understand, & document requirements from business users
• Own business layer mapping, references and hierarchies
• Design reporting and business intelligence products, including visualizations & self-service tools
• Continuous improvement and maintenance of business intelligence solutions
• Design knowledge sharing of data excellence practices to empower business users to self-serve their data needs
• Present products to business users and seek feedback for continued improvement
• Provide business analytics guidance as needed to ensure a quality project solution
• Integrate advanced analytics into Business Intelligence solutions to deliver clear and meaningful insights to the business
• Support analytics products in production
• Develop scalable tools to drive automation and optimize business operations
• Stay current with competitors and emerging technology

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM related area preferred)
• Intermediate development experience with at least 1 data visualization platform PowerBI
• Experience writing complex SQL queries to retrieve dimensional data
• Experience working with data transformation tools
• Understand practices and challenges related to collecting, harmonizing and transforming large & complex sets of data
• Programming in Python, R or JavaScript is a plus
• Experience with Jira and Agile project management (Nice-to-have)
• Strong professional communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences
• Experience developing internal tools / applications
• Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert​
