- Qualification Requirements
1.1 The following qualifications are required for Finance and Accounting Specialist:
Education
Higher (or postgraduate) education in Finance or related field
Work experience
At least 2 years of Finance Specialist experience
Professional Knowledge
- The following professional knowledge and skills are required for Finance and Accounting Specialist:
- Legislative, other regulatory legal acts and methodological materials on the organization of accounting of property, liabilities and business transactions and the preparation of reports;
- Forms and methods of accounting in the organization;
- Chart and correspondence of accounts;
- Organization of document flow in accounting areas;
- Procedure for documentary registration and reflection in the accounts of accounting transactions related to the movement of fixed assets, inventory items and cash;
- Methods of economic analysis of the economic and financial activities of the organization;
- Procedure for the operation of computer equipment;
- International financial reporting standards;
- Skills in working with a depository, business methods;
- Fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management;
- Labor legislation, internal labor regulations, occupational safety and health, industrial sanitation, fire safety requirements.

- Software experience (Excel, 1C, SAP)
- Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, English
- Proficiency in MS office programs.
Job responsibilities
- Accounting/Closing.
- Responsible for overseeing the accounting procedures of the company and making.
- Recommendations to process changes as needed. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year-end-closed process and make process change recommendations as needed.
- Prepare all accounting records & financial statements timely.
- Work with 3rd party accounting firm to complete audits.
- Responsible for establishing/updating an internal control plan to be compliant with SOX requirements.
- Tax Support.
- Oversee tax filings including federal, state, and property tax.
- Work with a 3rd party tax advisory firm to complete Tax audits.
- Managing and preparing transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with regulations.
- Treasury.
- Oversee forecast cash flow positions.
- Update for all expenditure. Request to open a bank account. Report daily bank cash summary. Keep proper cash level for operation.
- Managing all banking transactions and corporation cards processing.
- Managing Accounts Receivables. Inspect/check accounts receivable status regularly and track the related records. Communicate with relevant parties to manage payment/deposit.
- Develop, present, and oversee financial budgets on an annual and quarterly basis.
- Fixed Asset Management.
- Managing fixed asset records and developing asset verification plans.
- Finance Reporting.
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Report to parent company to complete consolidated financial statements.
- Reporting to respond to government authority regarding tax and other official request. Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of all financial information on a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Support Financial Function.
Produce, update and provide best practice support on documents, databases and other departmental systems to support the work of more senior colleagues. Tasks could include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, time and expense recording and similar.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 08:30 AM to 5:30 PM (full-time).
Salary:
Discussed individually during the interview and depends on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
