Execution trader

The Ultima World (DIFC) Limited is authorized and regulated by Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) with DIFC license, which provides brokerage, investment banking, asset management, custody, and investment advisory services. We are currently looking for an execution trader for the US markets across equities and FI, who will also overseeing margin trading accounts.

Responsibilities:

Executing client orders in Equities and fixed Income on US exchanges and OTC on a day-to-day basis in a timely and efficient manner;

Acting according to the company's best execution policy;

Overseeing margin accounts, executing margin trades;

Optimizing margin utilization to enhance trading performance and capital efficiency;

Collaborating with risk management team to assess and mitigate risks associated with margin trading;

Repo coverage;

Collateral management;

Ensuring all orders comply with applicable legislation and regulations and are properly documented;

Daily reconciliation of positions, ensuring risk limits are observed;

Proactively resolving all trading issues with Sales, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and other teams;

Covering US trading hours.

Requirements:

Education in economics, finance, or mathematics;

Relevant experience of 4+ years;

Fluent in English;

Knowledge of the base principles underpinning the valuation of different types of assets;

Understanding of factors affecting the prices of stocks, bonds, and derivatives;

In-depth understanding of margin trading principles;

Knowledge of technical and fundamental approaches to securities analysis;

Appreciation of ethical standards and professional integrity in financial markets;

Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal;

Programming and scripting languages is an advantage.
