The Senior Sustainability Specialist at the Eurasian Development Bank plays a pivotal role in advancing sustainable development principles and ensuring that the Bank's projects align with leading environmental, social, and governance standards. As a crucial member of the Sustainability team, the specialist will be responsible for integrating ESG and climate considerations into investment decisions, monitoring the bank's portfolio for adherence to ESG criteria, and fostering productive relationships with stakeholders to enhance the Bank's sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities / Основные обязанности:

• Environmental and social (E&S) impact assessment: conduct comprehensive E&S assessment and due diligence of investment projects, monitor and evaluate the impacts, track progress toward sustainability targets, and recommend improvements as needed.

Qualifications / Квалификации:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, sustainability, social sciences, finance, business administration, economics, engineering or a related field is required. / Обязателен диплом бакалавра по экологии, устойчивому развитию, социальным наукам, финансам, менеджменту, экономике, инженерии или смежным направлениям.

• Specializations, Master's/MBA's, or other advanced programs/degrees in the above-mentioned fields are preferred. / Предпочтение отдается кандидатам с магистратурой, MBA или дополнительной специализацией в указанных областях.

• Relevant experience of at least 1–3 years in the field, preferably in development / commercial bank, consulting or UN agency. The experience in E&S and climate assessment in project finance is preferred.
