Senior Python Developer

We are part of a large Fintech holding that has been successfully operating for over 10 years in the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Spain, and Romania. We specialize in the development of credit solutions, debt collection systems, and marketing platforms, and operate under a license from the Czech National Bank. We are now launching a new line of business focused on credit software development and are looking for a strong Senior Python Developer to become the core of our team.

What will you do?

• Participate in the creation of a new credit product from scratch, as a separate branch based on existing software;

• Design the technical architecture of the credit system;

• Develop key modules: scoring, credit limit calculation, loan management, integration with NFIs and external services;

• Gradually lead a small team of developers (1−3 people);

• Actively participate in architectural and product decision-making.

Our tech stack:

• Python 3.7+

• Django / FastAPI

• PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery

• Docker, GitLab CI/CD

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python;

• Experience building credit systems or working with NFIs (non-financial institutions);

• Architectural design skills;

• Ability to take ownership and lead a project;

• Confident English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Experience with microservice architecture;

• Team leadership or mentoring experience is a big plus;

• Knowledge of React.js (for front-end collaboration);

• CI/CD setup skills (GitLab CI);

• Familiarity with financial standards and regulations (e.g., KYC, AML).
